I've used Day Hill for over 25 years to service numerous different cars. They have always been honest and sometimes offer alternative cheaper repairs. I especially appreciate the owner's honesty when he said, "I can't compete with a $20 oil change give-away at a dealer." No problem, the dealer can't compete with your repairs. Brake jobs, alignments, belts, hoses, starters, etc sure, but they've done complicated stuff like remove an engine to weld new mounts, find and install a rebuilt transfer case when I was in a big hurry. They get my two thumbs up.

I stopped by Day Hill Automotive with a loud sound coming from my car. The mechanics were quick to diagnose the problem, offer a reasonable solution, and get me back on the road. Recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

The only place in the area we'll bring our vehicles. Consistently wonderful customer service, and repairs are usually done well before expected. AAA shop, too!

Keith always takes great care of our vehicles and (importantly) treats my wife very well. (She is an engineer and greatly dislikes being blown off by mechanics, such as Scatas in Windsor Locks!) Good turnaround and great customer communication. Recently had an extensive and expensive overhaul done and was comfortable with price and timeline all the way through. Highly recommended.

After spending years bringing my car to a dealership and never leaving without paying at least $200, Day Hill Automotive has been a great change. The guys at the shop are friendly and straightforward. They don't find 10 problems with your car when you've brought it in for 1. I couldn't ask for a better place to bring my car for all oil changes and repairs!
